Neat Find: Light Bulb Oil Lamp

I really like this Light Bulb Oil Lamp via NYBG Shop. The best thing about it, is that with all the end of the year sales going on, this baby was marked down to $24.50 from $98.00.

P.S.: I sincerely apologize for the lack of posts around here lately. With all the holidays and extra time at work it's been hard to get back into the groove of things. Hopefully by the first, everything will calm down a little, and I'll get back to a regular posting schedule. Cheers!

Instant Favorite: Alex Monroe Jewelry

I very recently discovered Alex Monroe's jewelry, and let me tell you, if there was any one collection of jewelry that was totally and completely me, it would be his. I love each and everyone of the pieces featured on his site, and that is not an exaggeration. Just look at his Bumblebee Necklace with Stone Set Stripes, which is pictured above. It's beautiful and whimsical. Two things I find myself draw to time and time again. It's no wonder I like his work. I thought I should post about it, incase you might like it too.

All images and design 100% by Alex Monroe.

Days of the Week Outfit: Wednesday

It's been pouring down rain for the past few days. Everything is soggy and there are huge puddles everywhere. So I decided to create a nice and cozy outfit for today. The boots are just the thing to help avoid the horrible water-logged shoes and socks problem I always seem to have during rain storms. Hope the weather is nicer where you are!

Pretty Plates from Anthropologie

I really like these pretty Birdwatcher's Dessert Plates from Anthropologie. Although they are not in the traditional red and green, I think they would be lovely for serving up pie on Christmas Eve.

Days of the Week Outfit: Monday

The weather outside is certainly frightful today. I thought this pop of bright pink would be the perfect cheerful spot in an otherwise dreary looking day.

These re-usable porcelain pieces have been popping up everywhere lately. I especially love the porcelain milk cartons by Ricochet Studio -- the best part is, is that these are glazed inside so that you can really use them!

Adagio Teas

No joke, it's been foggy all day long. And not the wispy kind, either, but the socked in, can't see across the street type. So, to take the chill away, I decided to blog about a tea company that I really love. They have great customer service, fast shipping, affordable teaware, and lovely tea blends (I especially love their gingerbread flavor). I'm talking about Adagio Teas. They offer affordable samples of flavors, which is perfect for trying new flavors out. Also, If you're looking for a gift for someone they have some great gift sets right now.
